Arrivals and Check-in

Day 1

Arrival at Imphal & Exploring Imphal

Transfer to Hotel from Imphal
Airport. After completing the check-in
formalities, we head off to Imphal War Cemetery, maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. At the end of visit we
will go to Hotel Luxmi to explore the traditional Manipuri cuisine. After lunch we head off again to take the tour of Kangla Fort, which is a symbol of ancient glory of the erstwhile ancient Asiatic nation of Manipur. From the fort we walk down to the world’s oldest Polo ground and the colourful and vibrant Ima Keithel the only market
run exclusively by women in the world. 

Stay overnight at Imphal in a 3-Star Hotel.


Day 2

Battle of Bishenpur, Moirang and Loktak Lake

After breakfast we head off along the Tiddim Road for the Battle of Bishenpur ‘1944 Tour. The tour includes visit to the India Peace Memorial, dedicated to all those who laid down their lives during the Battle of Imphal ‘1944, Imphal Peace Museum, commissioned with the support of Nippon Foundation, Japan, the historic Red Hill,
INA Complex and other
various WW2 landmarks. Followed by a lunch at
Sendra Resort on the ever popular Loktak Lake.
Take a boat ride on the majestic Loktak lake to cool off before we head back to Hotel while
stopping for tea and local fritters at

Stay overnight at Imphal.


Day 3

Battle of Sangshak Tour

Today we will drive up the winding roads amongst the blue mountains to reach the village
Sangshak roughly a 100kms from Imphal towards the North East bearing. Home of the
Tangkhul Naga tribes who were formerly head hunters. Upon arriving in the village we will
discover the history of this landmark engagement on the Battle of Shangshak ‘1944 Tour. The tour will be followed by a traditional Naga Lunch in the village. 

We will come back to Imphal and stay overnight at the hotel. 

Day 4

The Stalingrad of the East- Battle of Kohima Trail

After Breakfast we hit again up north along Asian Highway No 1 for the drive to the town of Kohima, the “Stalingrad of the East”. The journey would roughly take about three and
half hours across some winding hill roads. Along the way we will drop in at the
Kanglatongbi War
, American Baptist Mission Compound and also stop by the historic MS 109. Stopping for
an early Lunch at Mao gate the last village in Manipur.
We spend the rest of the day exploring the picturesque hill town of Kohima, starting with a visit
Kohima War Cemetery and other landmarks from the Battle of Kohima 1944. After this we will proceed further to Kohima Cathedral on the Aradura spur. This was commissioned with funds donated by former
Japanese soldiers, followed by a walk around Mao Bazaar to wind up the day

We will stay overnight at Kohima at a heritage hotel.

Day 5

Khonoma Trail

Drive out early to the Village of Khonoma, a unique Angami village perched on a ridge. At a distance of about 20 kms from Kohima town, it is famous for its fort and the heroic stand against the British Expedition of the 1879. After check-in at the lodge we take a walk around to discover the picturesque village of Khonoma and its surroundings.

Day 6

Fly back to Kolkata from Dimapur Airport

Start out early after breakfast for Dimapur Airport to fly out. End of Tour.

After 1st of October you will be asked to transfer the rest of the amount in our bank account to confirm your booking.
